my first post from rwanda!! our flights were uneventful, i slept pretty much the whole time on all three. we spent today in Kigali, exploring and visiting the kids at New Hope Homes. they all had a handshake, a hug, and a "muraho" (hello) waiting for us! we had some shoes that were donated to hand out. they were huge on a lot of the kids but it was so cute to see them trying them on and laughing at each other's new shoes. it was a short visit, but so good!
they sang us some songs...
said a sweet prayer...
sang some more songs...
and waved good bye! :)
the little girl in pink is just too cute! i love the image of the young boy with his hands held high to the Lord.
