alice // age one.

alice is a year old now. there's something sort of wonderful about watching a baby grow into a toddler. her eyes are still blue as the day she was born and her hair is taking it's sweet time to grow, but her little face is thinning out and she talks and talks. she can crawl with the best of them and is starting to wobbly walk in the way that babies do. she loves picking up the tiniest toys and hiding in tiny places. she's a slow eater and shakes her head at the foods she doesn't like.

i followed her around today with my camera. when she gets older she can point to herself and say, "look mom, wasn't i cute? i was so tiny once."
